William & Mary is the second-oldest university in the United States and is located in the beautiful Historic Triangle region of SE Virginia. It is an NCAA DI institution and its 23 athletics programs are part of the CAA conference.
This position is a 12-month full time position with benefits, and salary is up to $30,000 commensurate with experience and does accrue overtime. Position maintains the athletic supplies and equipment used by university athletic teams and ensures equipment rooms are in order. Essential functions include, but are not limited to: launder uniforms and other equipment as needed; receive and issue sports supplies and equipment to coaches and players; conduct inventory of supplies and equipment; prepare supplies and equipment for travel with athletic teams; and set up and stock locker rooms with appropriate equipment for home and away games.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Valid driver’s license. • AEMA Certification or obtained within one year of hire date. • Prior experience with athletic events organization and planning, inventory management, and/or logistics.
Competencies: • Proficiency with MS Office suite to include Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and internet search engines. • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills; • Demonstrated ability to organize and clearly document the inventory and purchasing process; • Ability to communicate and work effectively with enrolled students, administrators, and coaches.
Additional Salary Information: Up to $30,000 commensurate with experience.
