Highland Community College, Highland, Kansas, a NJCAA Division I program and a member of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference, is seeking a Head Football Coach. This position, which will be available January, 2020, is a full-time 10-month contract with full benefits. Highland, Kansas, is located in the northeast corner of the state, 30 miles west of St. Joseph, Missouri, and 60 miles north of the Kansas City International Airport. Located in a small rural farming community, Highland Community College is the oldest college in the state of Kansas, having been founded February 9, 1858. However, a new turf football field, remodeled weight room, and other updated athletic facilities are found among the traditional brick buildings, trees, and grass that make this campus attractive. Highland Community College offers apartment style student residential facilities. HCC has 20 different apartment complexes that can house up to 468 students. There are 2, 3 & 4 bedroom apartments available to students. A college cafeteria offers three meals per day and two convenience stores in town carry pizza, snacks and other amenities.

Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred. Related coaching and recruiting experience desired. Must have a valid driver's licence and good driving record. Must be eligible for employment for any employer without sponsorship. |
Additional Salary Information: College pays single coverage health/dental for the employee.
