Manages all aspects of creative video production that are utilized for promotional and commercial purposes, game day playback on video boards, special events, web content, and banquets for assigned sports. Works with external areas such as the marketing and media relations departments to conceptualize video projects. Manages and implements all aspects of videography, editing, and distribution of videos. Videotapes intercollegiate contests including all 24 sports, special events, including certain road games, for the purpose of archiving and creation of future promotional features.
Note: Position requires incumbent to comply fully with all NCAA, Big Ten (or other conference), and Indiana University rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or a related field and two years of video production and editing experience.
Possess a valid driver’s license with the ability to be insured by Indiana University.
Must have working knowledge of computer editing platforms including Final Cut Pro, Avid, and After Effects, as well as Photoshop, FTP programs, and encoding software. Possess creative skills and the ability to communicate and work with diverse individuals. Demonstrated ability to organize large projects with efficient use of time and success to meet required deadlines.
Prefer experience in video production and editing with sports video production.
