COORDINATOR – GROUP TICKET SALES/EVENT Athletic Director Pos. # 707190Req. # P716 RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the Assistant Athletic Director Ticketing and working closely with the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and staff, execute group ticket sales plans and promotional activities for football, men’s and women’s basketball, and baseball. Duties include: utilizing Ticketmaster’s Archtics system to maintain database of group sales clients; composing memos to track client development, seating and payment history. Serve as primary liaison to ticket office/marketing for external group sales and promotional athletic events. Work the front counter of the Ticket Office as assigned. Maintain proper tracking and reconciliation of all group sales for reporting and financial purposes. Assist Assistant Athletic Director Marketing with external community events and game day staffing to include: meeting and servicing groups during the game; securing, set up and visiting party tents; escorting groups onto playing surface for fan experiences, in-game promotions, etc. Place a designated number of calls each week to new prospective groups; log results; oversee distribution of sports marketing materials; assist with solicitation of season tickets via cold calls and attend community events to promote ticket sales and upcoming athletic events. Other duties include but are not limited to: review of former season ticket holders or previous groups that visited campus will be assigned to the incumbent to make calls to re-engage groups, may also be required to speak publicly and represent MT Athletics and perform other related tasks and special projects as assigned. Occasional night and weekend work is required.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in sports administration, marketing, sales or business and one year of progressively responsible experience in ticket sales and/or marketing required. Prior NCAA Division I athletic ticket operations and group ticket sales experience preferred. Prior Ticketmaster Archtics experience preferred.
SALARY RANGE: $37,205 - $45,948; commensurate with experience
