The University of Dayton Athletics Division is accepting applications for the Electronic Arts & Media Internship. This is an entry-level, full time, benefit eligible 12-month position. The University of Dayton Athletics Internship program is designed to expose the highly-motivated individual to all aspects of a Division I athletic program. Strong performers have the opportunity to be considered for permanent positions within the division if and when they become available. The successful candidate will rotate through experiences designed to give interns real-world experience with the broad range of disciplines within intercollegiate athletics. This position is distinguished by comprehensive training, mentor assignments, networking opportunities and funding to attend leadership and professional development throughout the internship.
The successful candidate will help coordinate the day-to-day execution of all logistics related to the creation of sport program video features, including the planning and execution of video production for athletic marketing, recruiting and branding initiatives. The candidate will also assist with live video production, work with external video constituents, and other Division initiatives.
Additional projects and special assignments will be given based upon capability and project need, with special attention given to men’s and women’s basketball.

Required qualifications for this position include: a Bachelor’s Degree, one year equivalent of part-time experience in the arena of intercollegiate or professional athletics (teams, professional organizations, sports media companies, firms related to athletics, and must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Preferred qualifications include: Successful experience with a collegiate sport, as a student-athlete, manager, coach or related role; successful experience in an NCAA Division I athletic department in the sphere or marketing, game operations, sales, or event management; successful experience operating a video camera at a live event; successful experience with basic graphic design templates and components.
