The Oklahoma Baptist University Athletics department seeks to fill a Director of Athletic Communications position. The Director is responsible for creating compelling content for the purpose of proactively publicizing OBU Athletics. Additionally the Director will plan, organize, and direct all communications efforts including news releases, features, photography, statistics, press box/game day operations, and publications, as well as serve as the department's primary media liaison. Successful candidates must be able to monitor and manage multiple social media accounts and platforms.
Special Requirements: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate commitment to the ideals of Christian Liberal Arts education and will be an active member of an evangelical congregation.

Have broad working knowledge and familiarity with NCAA and Great American Conference rules and policies
Have worked a minimum of one year in a collegiate/professionally related field
Be able to stand for long periods of time
Be able to carry up to 50 lbs up four flights of stairs on a regular basis
