Winona State University, a Division II member of the NCAA and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) located in Winona, Minn. is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant. This is a two-year term appointment. Acceptance into Winona State’s graduate program is required.

The graduate assistant will assist the Director of Athletic Communications in the promotion and coverage of Winona State’s 15 NCAA sports. Duties include, but are not limited to:
•Production of game notes and game programs •Video production, live video broadcasts and photography •Pre-game and postgame writing •Graphic design •Social media •Game day operations and set-up •Website maintenance (via SIDEARM) •Other duties as assigned by Athletic Administration
Compensation includes tuition waiver and monthly stipend.
Bachelor's degree in sport management, communications, journalist, public relations or related field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with editing experience
Experience with Adobe InDesign for publication production
Experience with photography and videography
Highly organized with proven ability to multi-task
Ability to work nights and weekends
Prior work experience within Sports Information/Intercollegiate Athletic Department
Working knowledge of StatCrew and/or Genius Sports software
Graphic design experience (i.e. Adobe Photoshop)
Strong video editing software experience (i.e. Adobe Premiere/Final Cut)
Knowledge of TriCaster and Stretch Internet for live broadcasts
