Summary Provide support to the Collegiate Partnerships Department by assisting with strategic relationships involving collegiate and Olympic stakeholders (NGBs, colleges, conferences, NCAA, etc.). Position will be responsible for facilitating collegiate regulatory reforms, executing various research projects and managing pilot programs to entrench and grow Olympic sports programs at the college level. Duties also include management of collegiate analytics system, development of a new collegiate contribution recognition program and support strategic initiatives driven by the USOC Collegiate Advisory Council
Duties & Responsibilities Regulatory support (35%)
Collaborate with the director to construct strategic plans and execute regulatory projects initiated by the USOC Collegiate Advisory Council.
Maintain and build best practices for collegiate and NGB stakeholders with regards to entrenching and growing Olympic sports programs within the collegiate landscape.
Conduct necessary research projects to aid in advancing regulatory projects (e.g., data-driven reports, athlete feedback and impact projections).
Assist with liaison support to collegiate stakeholders (NCAA, conferences, schools and coaches’ associations) and Olympic stakeholders (sport performance, NGBs) regarding the advancement and support of regulatory collaboration and/or reforms.
Information analyst (35%)
Manage the annual data collection of national team rosters; perform integrity checks with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., NGBs and NCAA) and perform analytical reports for annual and event-specific collegiate footprints.
Oversight of the collegiate analytics data management system and interface with both internal systems and external interfaces.
Develop a school ranking system to annually inventory and recognize schools with the most national team athletes representing Team USA.
Service as liaison to NCAA research staff and other data sources/contractors (NGBs, NBC, etc.).
Strategic alliances/other (30%)
Build and facilitate the collegiate contribution recognition program and serve as a liaison to collegiate recognition partners.
Assist with projects, communications and relationship building with collegiate leadership organizations (Women Leaders, NACDA, coaching associations, etc.).
Provide event management support for departmental participation at collegiate meetings/events.
Assist with other departmental priorities as assigned (Olympic Games communications, collegiate campaign support, etc.).
Minimum Qualifications Required Education: •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Experience: •Minimum of 5 years of experience in collegiate athletics or Olympic Movement •Experience in data management, strategic planning and executive-level communications •Knowledge of the Olympic Movement and collegiate athletics system
Skills: •Interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders •Exceptional writing and editing skills •Ability to think creatively and innovatively •Highly developed sense of ownership and responsibility •Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with an acute attention to detail

Additional Salary Information: potential for an annual incentive of up to 15% of salary.
