The University of Utah, a member of the Pac-12 Conference, is seeking applications for a Compliance Coordinator to support the University’s Division I NCAA athletics compliance program.

COMPENSATION: $ 31600 to $58,400 WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time, 40 hours per week,
RESPONSIBILITES: Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: •Processing of all monitoring logs; •Researching, writing, and issuing NCAA rules interpretations; •Assisting in the investigation and reporting of NCAA violations; •Preparing and submitting NCAA and Pac-12 waivers; •Developing time management plans with all sports programs, monitoring the plans throughout the year, and drafting end-of-year time management reports for each program; •Monitoring recruitment activities, countable athletically-related activities, promotional activities, and donation requests; and •Performing office audits and other special projects as assigned by the Director of Compliance.
Bachelor’s degree and one to two years of professional regulatory experience, preferably in athletics compliance at a NCAA Division I institution or conference office. The selected candidate should have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate proficiency in commonly-used technological processes such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, NCAA LSDBi, and NCAA CA.
Juris Doctorate or Master’s degree; successful completion of the NAACEducation Certification program; prior experience in athletics compliance and student-athlete educational programming at either the Division I level, conference office, or the NCAA; supervisory experience; and proven experience in working with high-profile intercollegiate sports programs.
