The Assistant to the Athletic Director/HPE Facility Coordinator will work closely with the Athletic Director fulfilling the day to day obligations and management of the WTC athletic department. They will also oversee the HPE building staff and all events and activities within the facility.
Assisting with the day to day operations of the athletic department including adherence to all NJCAA, WJCAC and WTC policies and procedures. This will include assisting with budgets/fundraising, eligibility compliance, scholarship oversight, assisting with coordination of practice and competition schedules, home game/event management, sports information and promotions. The position will also assist in the collection of documents and files, including athlete eligibility, scholarship, team schedules and rosters.
The Assistant to the Athletic Director/HPE Facility Coordinator will also be responsible to oversee all events and activities within the HPE building, work with athletic programs in scheduling fitness area needs, oversee the HPE student worker staff, maintain and upkeep all equipment and facilities, develop and implement student and community fitness services, work the Student Activities Director to implement intramural programs, teach and implement proper utilization of equipment and programs.
The position will maintain collegial interactions with various campus offices and departments, maintain frequent and consistent positive public contact with the community, students, faculty and staff.
The position must be able to adapt to a flexible work schedule to accommodate evenings, weekend and travel events. Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
Previous collegiate experience as a player, coach or administrator preferred
Demonstrated commitment to the concept of “student athlete”
Ability to work with a diverse population of students, staff and community.
Strong organizational and management skills.
Ability to use computer and other technologies and routine work tools.
Must be authorized to work within the United States
Required to be collegial, respectful and professional with faculty, staff and students at all times.
Workplace attendance is essential for job function.
Ability to work full time is essential.

Courses of Study
