Drake Athletics seeks qualified candidates to apply for the position of Director of the Bulldog Club. Reporting to the Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs, the Director of the Bulldog Club will be responsible for guiding all facets of the Bulldog Club, which is the primary fundraising arm for Drake Athletics. The successful candidate will focus on cultivating strong relationships with current Bulldog Club donors, developing and implementing strategies for cultivating new donors, and employing new and creative stewardship initiatives that result in increased membership and gifts to Athletics. The Director of the Bulldog Club will also manage a portfolio of current and prospective donors to Drake University, and will be responsible for cultivating, soliciting and stewarding gifts to Athletics. As a member of the External Affairs team, this position will also work closely with ticket office, marketing, communications, and video services staff to coordinate a vision for Drake Athletics branding and awareness that will result in increased engagement with the Des Moines community and attendance at Drake University events. A minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, collegiate athletics or a relevant field is preferred.
