Provide student-athletes with life skills counseling, program assistance, and monitor progress. Meet with prospective student-athletes and families on a regular basis. Plan student-athlete career fair and networking night events. Plan “Moving off Campus” and financial seminars. Assist with direction of Life After Sports transition seminar. Facilitate and direct Inner Circle emerging leadership group. Assist with major community outreach initiatives and involvement with all major life skills programming.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree plus two years related experience in an educational setting required. Major event planning experience required. Proven presentation skills essential. Technology skills a must. Preferred qualifications: Prefer Master’s degree; experience in student-athlete counseling; working knowledge and proven compliance with institutional, conference, and NCAA rules.
