Job Summary: The Assistant AD for Digital Media and Operations/Director for Digital Media and Operations will be responsible for coordinating all digital media operations for the athletic department and over see athletic facilities scheduling and maintenance, ticketing and team travel.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a collegiate athletic department. Proven record in following directives and being responsible for tasks assigned. Knowledge of NCAA rules as they pertain to parents, boosters and fans. Experience working with a tri-caster. Proficient video/audio editing skills in Final Cut Pro, Adobe CS on a Mac platform (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, Illustrator, After Effects), word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software. Experience in social media management. DSLR photography shooting and editing skills.
Preferred Qualification Summary: Masters Degree is REQUIRED for Assistant AD portion of this position. If applicant does not have a Master’s Degree, position title will be Director for Digital Media and Operations and minus Assistant AD duties.
Physical Demands: Climbing, stooping, balancing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 35 lbs., Talking, hearing, seeing. Subject to booth environmental conditions, inside and outside.
Required Degree: Bachelors required for Director of Digital Media portion of this position. Masters required for Assistant AD portion of this position.

PRIMARY DUTIES: Coordinating broadcasting of athletic events for the Hillcat Network. Video content development for the athletic department. Assist with graphic design. Edit highlight packages. Produce and edit video feature segments. Archive game and media content during the academic year for future use. Additional video projects as requested. Prepare/oversee video content for social media. Maintain the brand and image of the department and University. Facilitate management and scheduling. Serve as liaison to Physical Plant. Assist coaches in scheduling team transportation. Oversight for ticketing for Hillcat basketball games.
SECONDARY DUTIES: Other duties as assigned by Athletic Director. Expected to attend University and community functions to help promote the University.
