Job Description The University of Notre Dame Athletics Department is seeking a talented, self-driven individual to join the marketing team in the role of Marketing, Program Coordinator. The mission of the athletics marketing department is to provide a world class game experience for all participants and fans, generate critical resources and positively impact the Notre Dame brand while representing the five core values of the athletics department.
Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, this position will work closely with the 2018 National Champion women's basketball team as well as the Irish baseball team in coordinating and executing marketing plans and developing promotions and ticket sales initiatives in order to increase attendance, revenue and fan engagement. In addition, this position will coordinate and execute football pep rallies, coordinate media placement and assist Fighting Irish Media in the development of traditional and digital advertising creative, direct select revenue-generating initiatives that provide unique fan experiences and opportunities, and assist with football game day events, the oversight of marketing interns and student workers and other special events. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with 3-4 years experience. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of marketing concepts, strategy and best practices in the field of college athletics.
Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in a collegiate athletics department.
