The University at Albany is searching for a highly qualified applicant to fill the role of Assistant Athletic Director for Business. UAlbany is a NCAA Division I institution that competes in the America East Conference, Women's Golf (MAAC), and Football is a member of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA). This position will report directly to the Associate Director for Business Operations.
Primary responsibilities for this role include:
Daily oversight of budgets Oversight of the departmental financial database Financial planning and forecasting Management of departmental procurement cards
Other duties include:
Coordinating and distributing budget updates for sport and administrative budgets Managing travel advances Ensuring compliance with all New York State and NCAA financial guidelines
This position will also serve as the IT liaison and will be the liaison for the departmental cell phone provider
Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization in Business or a related field
Minimum five years' experience in a Division I athletic business office
Strong organizational skills
Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access

Ability to work independently and handle a wide variety of tasks
Master's degree from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization
