The East Carolina Athletics Football Department is hiring for a temporary Quality Control Coordinator. The Quality Control position is a primary aid to the coaching staff. This position reports to the offensive and/or defensive coordinators. The QC will provide various duties in analysis, quality control, administrative, and organizational capacities.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist staff with daily supervision of players
Assist Offensive and/or Defensive Coordinator with all duties for practice and game plan preparation.
Complete breakdowns of opponents to be completed a week ahead of time.
Coordinate video cutups of all opponent offensive film
Assist Offensive and/or Defensive Coordinator with distribution of gameplans.
Responsible for drawing Offensive scout team looks ("Cards").
Responsible for the Offense's and/or Defenses' schedules and scripts.
Responsible for offensive and/or defensive gameplan distribution.
Responsible for offseason future opponent breakdown and cutups.
Responsible for various elements of offensive and/or defensive quality control.
Responsible for editing playbook using DVSport.
Responsible for construction and distribution of offensive and/or defensive spring playbooks.
Responsible for accumulating offensive and/or defensive grades and play counts.
Assist Offensive and/or Defensive Coordinator with administration of practice scripts
Provide statistical breakdowns for offensive and/or defensive coaches.
Assist with recruiting and closing packets as assigned.
Prepare post-game clip videos and presentations for recruiting.
Liaison between coaching staff and video staff to ensure video needs are met for student-athlete instruction and recruiting.
Liaison between coaching staff and equipment staff to ensure equipment needs are met for student-athlete safety and successful football program execution.
Build quality relationships and work collaboratively and professionally with Pirate Club, athletics, and University staff, students, business vendors and all donors and stakeholders.
Abide by all written policies and procedures of ECU, the Department of Athletics, The Educational Foundation (Pirate Club), the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and all applicable conferences or associations.
Other duties assigned by the Head Coach and offensive and/or defensive staff.
Bachelor's degree required.
At least one year football coaching or playing experience required.
Qualifying degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions and conferred by the time of hire.
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school or collegiate coaching experience is preferred.
Familiarity with DVSport video recommended.
Experience with HUDL software preferred.
