JOB DESCRIPTION: The Ticket Sales Representatives will be responsible for meeting the department’s ticket goals through full and partial season tickets sales, group sales, and individual game sales. The Ticket Sales Representatives will be expected to provide excellent customer service to all fans throughout the sales process and on game days. Ticket Sales Representatives will also be expected to drive donations through the Touchdown Club, Seawolves United, & other fundraising efforts. This position offers up to 28 hours/week, hourly pay + commission.
• Utilize the AXS Vertix Ticketing to process orders and maintain customer data • Assist with game day operations including Will Call and sales • Provide outstanding customer service to all fans and customers • Drive interest and tickets sales for all Stony Brook Athletic events • Assist the marketing and ticketing departments to coordinate ticket promotions • Use social media to connect to fans and inform customers about special promotions • Research, develop and generate sales leads (group, individual and season sales) • Organize and lead game day group sales experiences • Educate season ticket holders, fans and community on season ticket holder benefits, game day experiences, Seawolves United, and Touchdown Club • Prospect, pitch and close new ticket accounts via cold calling, email marketing and in person • Responsible for maintaining and servicing all ticket sales accounts on a day to day basis • Achieve defined sales goals through various means including, but not limited to executing sales calls, creating new ticket promotions, maintaining current season ticket holders
Bachelor’s Degree Required

Additional Salary Information: Commission based position in addition to hourly rates
