Assists the Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance with the coordination and implementation of all compliance activities. Responsible for clerical and administrative functions of administering the Compliance Office. Support the Director of Compliance with the application of all NCAA bylaws and guidelines by performing the following duties.
Other duties may be assigned. 1. Maintain absolute integrity 2. Understand and agree to abide by the mission of CBU and the CBU Athletics Department. 3. Perform administrative and clerical duties as assigned and as needed to assist with efficient functioning of the Compliance Office. 4. Serve as Student Athlete Advisory Committee Co-Chair and serve on Gender Equity & Diversity Committee. 5. Assist with EADA, annual NCAA financial report and Sport Sponsorship reports for NCAA. 6. Write grant proposals for NCAA and Conference grants. 7. Manage team files/documents including, but not limited to Eligibility Reports, database, monitoring forms, declaration of playing and practice seasons, recruiting, official and unofficial visits, financial aid, and squad lists. 8. Collect and document weekly monitoring forms that detail countable hours, in compliance with NCAA bylaws. 9. Interact with various campus departments in a variety of manners (i.e., communications, document issuance and retrieval) 10. Assist with preparation of forms, and assist with Financial Aid Office interaction to effectively manage the safe and timely transfer of information. 11. Assist in the research and preparation for rules education meetings, and compliance committee meetings. 12. Oversee and coordinate student-athlete exit interviews. 13. Collect and review monthly recruiting phone logs to determine compliance with NCAA recruiting standards. 14. Monitor the recruiting database program. 15. Manage the student-athlete files in accordance with NCAA and FERPA requirements. 16. Facilitate communication and correspondence with other institutions to gather information to assist with academic and athletics standing (permission to contact, releases and tracer forms). 17. Assist with the complimentary ticket process and other ongoing forms in the Compliance Office. 18. Communicate with coaches regarding required documentation due, and facilitate Eligibility Center reports. 19. Assist or supervise game management during athletic events, as needed. 20. Effectively manage time in a demanding work environment. 21. Multi-task to provide efficiency and accuracy of required related job responsibilities. 22. Respond to all verbal and written correspondence from coaches, staff, student-athletes and campus community in the requested time frame. 23. Adhere to all institutional, conference and NCAA by-laws and regulations. 24. Attend NCAA Regional Rules seminars and Conference meetings, as required. 25. Monitor student-athlete meal plan usage 26. Establish a safe environment for student-athletes.

Skill in the use of personal computers, and related software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel. ? Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects. ? Ability to manage and impart confidential information. ? Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports. ? Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and procedures. ? Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. ? Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. ? Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures. ? Knowledge of general accounting principles. ? Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures. ? Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions.
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; and/or three to five years’ related experience and/or training at the NCAA level; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
