The person in this full-time position will provide direct oversight of all athletic facilities, including, but not limited to, scheduling of student and professional staff, processing payroll, managing facility schedules, monitoring maintenance/housekeeping requests, updating calendaring systems, and providing evening facility supervision. Additionally, they will train student workers and staff all home athletic events, serve as a game-day event manager, and be assigned as a sport administrator for the men's and women's cross country programs. This position is a two-year internship funded through the NCAA Division III Ethnic Minority & Women's Internship Grant Program. The position is available from July 17, 2017 through July 16, 2019.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, whether dealing with individuals or groups, and an ability to work well with different constituents.
Ability to work on multiple projects under time constraints.
Ability to learn and apply University policies and procedures to ensure operational compliance and reliable judgement.
Basic computer competency required.
Ability to successfully complete a background check, motor vehicle check, and drug test.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred. Degree work in recreation management, sports management, fitness, physical education, or related fields preferred.
Demonstrated experience in managing or overseeing athletic or fitness facilities preferred.
Previous experience working in intercollegiate athletics preferred.
Valid driver's license required.
Current CPR, AED, and first aid certifications required. Training and recertification can be provided if necessary.
Compliance with NCAA Division III rules and regulations required.

A mandatory orientation at the NCAA National Office will take place July 27-28, 2017.
