The University of California, Santa Barbara is seeking qualified applicants for a Compliance Coordinator. The Coordinator provides oversight of selected aspects of the Intercollegiate Athletics Compliance Program, including interpretation and implementation of NCAA Rules and Regulations, NCAA Initial Eligibility, Big West Conference and institutional rules and regulations as they relate to NCAA eligibility and Admission standards. Develops and implements systems, procedures and monitoring techniques for student athletes' pre-enrollment and initial eligibility activities. Also implements programs for student athletes in the areas of athletic excellence, personal development, career development, community service. Reqs: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of years of experience. At least one-year experience working in Intercollegiate athletics. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. Must have strong work ethic, attention to details, and possess effective communication skills (written and verbal) along with demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups. Notes: Fingerprint background check required. Ability to work occasional evenings and/or weekends.
