The Director of Ticketing Operations reports to the Assistant Athletics Director for External Affairs. Manage all aspects of ticketing and fulfillment for the Athletic department efficiently and effectively. Oversee ticket system operations for the athletic department. Responsible for helping maximize ticket sales revenue.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the athletic ticket office.
Provide a superior level of customer service to ensure a positive experience for all patrons in order to promote APSU Athletics.
Communicate effectively with general public through box office hours, phone, and digitally to provide the most up-to-date ticket information and address all inquiries.
Hire, train and supervise ticket office staff and game day personnel for athletic events.
Utilize and maintain all ticket office technology to maximize efficiency.
Help establish and monitor sales goals to ensure maximization of revenue.
Provide sales reports as requested.
Develop department budget and manage all revenues and expenses related to the department consistent with all applicable University policies and procedures.
-Perform administrative and supervisory responsibilities in support of the strategic goals and initiatives of the athletics department. -Work closely with the marketing and development departments to maximize customer service and campaign results. -Maintain security of all assets. -Ensure department operations are in compliance withNCAA, conference and University rules and policies. -Position requires working evenings, weekends, and some travel. -Other duties as assigned.
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work, and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
Required Mininum Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree required. -Experience in ticketing operations required. -Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed is required.
