Coastal Carolina University is accepting applications for a Director of Compliance (Student Services Program Coordinator II) in the President's Office. This position is to assist the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance in all areas of intercollegiate athletic compliance.
Responsibilities include maintaining ARMS software by overseeing the submissions of recruiting official visit forms and regulations, recruiting contact and evaluation logs and regulations, and playing and practice logs and regulations; monitoring initial eligibility certification - NCAA clearinghouse; overseeing National Letter of Intent packages and assisting with preparation of athletic scholarships; serving as a liaison between athletic department and campus housing, admissions and university bookstore; coordinating all NCAA forms abiding by and complying with the NCAA constitution, by-laws, rules, regulations and interpretations, any conference with which Coastal Carolina is or may become affiliated, and Coastal Carolina rules and regulations relating to the conduct and administration of its athletic programs, including recruiting rules, as now constituted or as any of the same may be amended during the Term herein; overseeing scholarship book issue and return; participating with the implementation and execution of NCAA rules education program campus and community wide and handling NCAA rules interpretations; assisting with submitting legislative waivers to the NCAA and investigating potential rules violations with the NCAA; assisting in certification of eligibility; overseeing auditing paperwork for camps and clinics; managing updating compliance web site and compliance manual; and performs other duties as assigned by the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance.

Student Services Program Coordinator II (CB70), full-time position with benefits. SC State pay band 05. Primary work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Must be flexible to meet special scheduling needs of the University.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs are required. Two (2) years of experience working with NCAA compliance at a Division I institution, conference office or the NCAA preferred. Additionally, a successful candidate should possess excellent written and oral communication skills; attention to detail; excellent computer skills; demonstrated knowledge of NCAA compliance rules and regulations; basic knowledge, understanding and adherence of NCAA, conference and University rules and guidelines.
