The University of Missouri is now accepting applications for the position of Strategic Communications Manager - Intercollegiate Athletics. This position will be responsible for managing the marketing activities of Intercollegiate Athletics and aligning communication efforts with the department's strategies. Additional responsibilities of this position will include creating consistency among brand channels to ensure adherence to tone and voice in all internal and external communications, promotions and/or marketing pieces; assisting the Senior Associate Athletic Director of Marketing and Revenue Generation by overseeing the day to day operations of the marketing department including promotion of all Mizzou Athletic Programs to include marketing, promoting, and advertising season tickets, single game tickets and group tickets; oversight of the day to day marketing efforts for all sports and selected initiatives, increasing awareness, attendance and revenue for each athletic program as directed by the Sr. Associate Athletic Director for Marketing and Revenue Generation; coordinates with the Digital Marketing and Creative Services department the production of print materials (fan guides, ticket sales brochures, posters, schedule cards, print ads, etc.); assists in the marketing of various ticket packages through social media and digital marketing channels and platforms; oversee and develop comprehensive marketing plans for each sport with a concentration on football; oversee the Mizzou spirit programs; monitors all marketing activities for compliance with institutional, conference and NCAA rules and regulations and develops and monitors departmental budget. Qualified applications will have at minimum, a Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abililites can be acquired and three years of experience. PREFERED: Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and four years experience in marketing, promotions, public relations, sales or business management with previous supervisory and management experience
