Responsible for developing concepts and production materials for the Purdue Football graphic design projects. Work primarily with football staff to develop creative pieces that may include recruiting mailers, marketing materials, social media graphics, etc. Assist with art direction at photo shoots. Manage 1-2 student intern designers on a daily basis. Serve as secondary design contact for all departments and sports in Purdue Athletics.

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Interface Graphics, Web Design or related field of study required. Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Dreamweaver, HTML and Adobe After Effects a plus. Photography experience is a plus. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage several projects at one time. Experience in a fast-paced environment is essential. A strong understanding of sports preferred. Must have a working knowledge of print production. Must possess excellent communication skills, including written and verbal, and have the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely. Must be highly organized and detail-oriented. Ability to work independently and self-manage project flow. Team player with the ability to work well in a team setting and across diverse groups, organizations and departments. Proactive, energetic, curious, creative thinker, trouble-shooter and problem-solver. May be required to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to provide a portfolio which highlights a variety of projects including identity design, advertising and/or page layout. Ability to communicate and adhere to university, Big Ten Conference, and NCAA policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
