Under the supervision of the Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing & Fan Experience and in accordance with all NCAA, conference, state and institutional rules and regulations, this position will manage all aspects of ticket operations for Milwaukee Athletics events including developing strategic sales initiatives to reach a growing fan base. This position is responsible for training and managing all sales staff and coordinating with the marketing, development and corporate sponsorship offices to maximize sales opportunities and provide quality experiences for fans who attend UWM Athletics events. In addition, it supervises game and event management as well as ticket related functions for all ticket athletics events.
The incumbent shall know, recognize and comply with the laws, policies, rules and regulations governing University and its employees, and the rules of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (“NCAA”) and the applicable Conference, as now constituted or as they may be amended during the Term of this agreement. Employee shall take all reasonable steps to endeavor to ensure that all assistant coaches, and any other employees for whom Employee is administratively responsible, comply with aforesaid policies, rules, and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, sports management or a related field. Ticket sales experience required.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Ticketmaster system and working in an intercollegiate or professional ticket operations environment.
Additional Salary Information: This is a 12-month full-time appointment designated as fixed renewable. This position comes with a competitive salary and benefit package.
